Run Your Own Bitcoin Node
You can add your own dot to this globe. Running a node means you personally verify every Bitcoin transaction—no trust required. If your grandmother can plug in a router, she can run a node.

What If You'd Stacked?
DCA Strategy: Dollar-cost averaging reduces timing risk by spreading purchases over time. This calculator uses historical Bitcoin prices to show what consistent stacking would have achieved.

KNOTS vs CORE
The Battle for Bitcoin's Soul
A philosophical battle is raging in Bitcoin: Should the network be an uncensorable medium of information exchange, or should it remain purely Bitcoin as money? This debate centers on spam filtering, OP_RETURN limits, and the future direction of Bitcoin development.
BITCOIN CORE
- Default reference implementation
- Policy changes under active debate
- No transaction filtering by default
- "If you paid the fee, it's valid"
- Allows ordinals & inscriptions
"Uncensorable data layer"
BITCOIN KNOTS
- Fork maintained by Luke Dashjr
- Filters non-financial transactions
- Rejects inscriptions & ordinals
- Backed by Ocean Mining
- Policy-level spam filtering
"Bitcoin is money. Period."

State of the Pulse
Real-Time Network Intelligence Brief
The network is operating at peak efficiency with historically low fees and rising hashrate. Exchange outflows continue to signal accumulation behavior, while energy metrics demonstrate Bitcoin's growing role in monetizing stranded renewable capacity. The protocol remains antifragile—every attack vector explored has only made it stronger.
Mempool Heatmap
Transaction Fee Urgency
Think of it like a waiting room. When you send Bitcoin, your transaction doesn't get confirmed instantly. It first goes to the "mempool" (memory pool) — a holding area where all pending transactions wait to be picked up by miners.
Higher fee = faster service. Miners prioritize transactions that pay higher fees. The heatmap above shows how many transactions are waiting at each fee level. When the left side (low fees) is tall, the network is calm. When the right side (high fees) lights up, there's high demand.
When a block is mined, the highest-fee transactions get "sliced" off and confirmed forever on the blockchain. The rest keep waiting.
